The Public Hearing for the High Voltage Training Standard is now open for interested parties to offer feedback on GWO standards in design, development and review.
As part the Global Wind Organisation HV Training Development project, the team visited the new HV training facilities of RelyOn UK located within Redcar & Cleveland College.
This project aims to develop and implement a high voltage standard in the wind industry to address skilled labour shortages, enhance safety and streamline upskilling.
Thomas joined GWO in 2023, with 20 years’ experience in development and delivery of Safety, Emergency Response & Technical training across Europe, the Middle East, Asia & Africa. He has managed a number of Training Providers in different regions approved under GWO and within the wider offshore training sector. Thomas spent several years in the role of Approvals Auditor for Training Providers in the offshore industry globally, ensuring safety and quality of systems, resources, staff & delivery.
