The Control of Hazardous Energies (CoHE) Standard Public Hearing is now open. You are invited to share your feedback on the newly revised draft version, which supports safe working practices in environments where hazardous energies are present.
This Public Hearing, which is open until Friday 24 October 2025, ensures transparency in the decision-making process and allows stakeholders to submit feedback that will inform the final editorial process.
To access the updated draft Standard, please fill out the form on the right. Once this is completed you will receive an email with a link to the document and a link to a survey where you can provide feedback.
Submissions for public review are closed. Standard drafts are being revised in accordance with relevant input and feedback. Subsequently the standards will be piloted in late April and early May.
Created in collaboration with strategic partners including the Global Solar Council (GSC), the two GWO solar standards are tailored to the needs of the solar industry. They focus on supporting the workforce in training workers for utility-scale sites. Five solar modules will be integrated into two separate standards: a Solar Safety Standard and a Solar Technical Standard.
Why Public Review?
GWO has an established review process for new and revised standards based on our ‘by the industry, for the industry’ approach. We are reinforcing this approach by publishing late-stage exposure drafts for public review. As industry experts your voice is highly valuable to us, and we kindly ask you to please review the draft and submit feedback through the feedback form.
