John has worked in senior training and workforce development roles within the renewable energy, aerospace and oil & gas sectors for over 20 years. At GWO he previously helped drive the development of new standards as Chair of the Training Committee. John has been Chair of the Board of Directors since 2023.

Sebastian has extensive experience in QHSE and competency management within the offshore energy sector. At Ørsted, he oversees QHSE requirements in the supply chain and plays an active role in Ørsted’s business performance management team. Sebastian has been actively involved with industry organisations such as IOGP, IPIECA, and G+.

René is currently Head of Global Training in Siemens Gamesa where he heads the Training Decision Board formulating Siemens Gamesa's training strategy and prioritisation of efforts in support of strategic goals, governing training across Service, Offshore and Onshore business units.

Tove, holds an MSc in Marine Engineering and Naval Architecture. She spent 17 years at ExxonMobil before joining Equinor in 2007. She oversees offshore wind, solar, and storage safety. Tove also serves on the board of G+ and chaired the association between 2020-2022.

With over 20 years in QHSE, Dennis is committed to aligning industry training with evolving safety needs, supporting GWO’s mission to standardise and improve workforce competence worldwide. His vision is to strengthen global safety standards, foster collaboration, and enhance workforce training.

Jan has worked in the renewable energy sector since 2012, starting as a Marine Coordinator for TenneT. He developed into an HSE expert for offshore wind through various positions with EnBW, Siemens and Vestas. In 2022, he joined RWE as Director HSSE at RWE Renewables for onshore wind and PV/BESS, where he is leading a team of internal and external HSE and Security experts. He will contribute with his knowledge to support the expansion of GWO and the continuous improvement of its standards.

Edward is a seasoned Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and risk management executive with over 15 years of experience leading enterprise-wide safety, sustainability, and compliance programs across the energy, technology, and public sectors. He currently serves as the Health Safety & Wellbeing Senior Director of Shared Services at Avangrid, where he provides strategic oversight of EHS operations, ISO management systems, and workforce training initiatives across North America. 

Howard is an EHS Director responsible for the Envision Global Project, service and hydrogen. He is also a Compliance Commissioner for Envision international business regions. He has represented the company on various committees since 2018 and was elected to the GWO Board of Directors in 2023.

Kiersten brings 18 years of experience in Wind Services, having held key leadership roles within GE Vernova. She currently holds the role of Wind Services EHS Executive at GE Vernova where she is responsible for high-risk operations - risk assessment and operational gap reduction, contractor partnership and performance in the industry and front-line capability building.

Thomas is Co founder and CSO of Muehlhan Wind Service. He has been with the company since its inception and has held his current role for nearly 9 years. Thomas has hands on experience with the establishment and operation of training centres within the wind industry and possesses deep insight into global training, certification, and workforce demands across both onshore and offshore wind.
