Committees
Audit and Compliance Committee
The GWO Audit and Compliance Committee provides an independent appraisal and compliance function.
Its primary focus is to ensure the adequacy and effectiveness of the GWO certification process as adopted and used by third party accredited certification bodies. It also supports the Executive Committee to discharge its overall responsibilities and to deliver a robust framework enabling the certification process for training providers. The final key responsibility of the committee is to handle complaints and non-conformities.

Maria del Carmen Diaz Arias

Global Senior Quality Manager, Global Wind Service
Maria has over 15 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, as Head of Quality for the Mediterranean Business Unit at Vestas for 12 years, followed by a role as Project Quality Manager for Iberdrola’s offshore Saint-Brieuc project. In 2023, she joined GWS as Global Senior Quality Manager, where she continues to drive excellence in the QSE management system across international operations.
