On track - design report was approved, no pilots needed.
August 14, 2025
On track, design report moving forward for approval today within the Training Committee. IQTT refresher removed. Public Hearing in August. Release 2 December.
June 16, 2025
Stakeholder hearing planned for July. Timeline for 14th August Gate 3 approval process challenged due to summer vacations.
Project scope
Routine review of standard with a focus on gaps and opportunities for improvement, potentially including updates to curriculum and recommendations for global scalability and relevance. Development of a potential refresher standard.
Thomas manages GWO training standard review and development. Thomas had a long career in the Danish Navy, Training and Education branch, before joining GWO in August 2020. His key focus areas are pedagogical and didactic development.
