Project progress is determined by many factors. This timeline is updated to reflect approvals and gates in the relevant project plan.
Training Committee approval confirms release date for 2 May 2025. The Project Manager and the rest of the Training Development team are finalising editorial reviews and final adjustments ready for publication.
We have changed 10 training standards and 21 modules to cover Hand Tools Awareness, Housekeeping and Dropped Objects Prevention.
Standards release and updates webinar: Hand Tool Awareness and Dropped Objects Prevention is scheduled for May 22, 2025 (AM session at 9.00 and PM session at 15.00 GMT+1:00 Copenhagen).
Produce awareness training for hand tools to meet the needs of members and the market, reduce risk, improve quality and align with the ELF framework. The addition of a "Hand Tool Awareness & Dropped Object Prevention" training standard to the GWO BTT portfolio, alongside implementation into all other relevant standards, addresses a critical need in the wind energy sector.
Thomas manages GWO training standard review and development. Thomas had a long career in the Danish Navy, Training and Education branch, before joining GWO in August 2020. His key focus areas are pedagogical and didactic development.
