GWO Standards Update: Six-Month Grace Period Ends 10 September 2026

The six-month grace period following the release of updated GWO Training Standards in March 2026 will end on Thursday 10 September 2026. As previously communicated, changes to the refresher standards and WINDA training records will come into full effect on this date.

Where Can I Find the New Versions of the Training Standards?

From 10 September, the previous versions of the refresher training standards will be removed and only the new and merged standards will be visible on the website. This change applies to:

• Advanced Rescue Training Standard
• Basic Safety Training Standard
• Control of Hazardous Energies Standard
• Enhanced First Aid Training Standard
