Muehlhan Wind Service brings wide-ranging experience in shaping the continuous excellence of the renewables workforce to GWO, as a leading ISP for wind turbine installation, operations and maintenance solutions.

GWO is pleased to announce Muehlhan Wind Service (MWS) as its newest member, marking another step towards ensuring a safer and more skilled energy workforce. MWS’ arrival in the GWO community reflects the establishment of an emerging member base of Independent Service Providers (ISPs), with the company’s membership closely following two other ISPs, GWS and TAKKION.
Offering wind turbine services across the installation, operations and maintenance parts of the value chain, MWS specialises amongst others in onshore and offshore wind turbine installation work, as well as O&M services within the wind industry. With a track record of delivering over 2,000 completed projects and a current technician workforce of more than 3,500 GWO trained technicians across Europe, North America and APAC, MWS’ experience will inform the continuous development of training quality and workforce preparedness in the GWO community.
MWS joins more than 30 leading energy companies united in their shared mission of empowering the renewables workforce with sufficiently skilled professionals.
Thomas Andersen, CSO, and Co-Founder of MWS, said:
Joining the GWO member community reflects our strong commitment to building and sustaining a highly skilled workforce for the wind industry. With a growing global demand for both onshore and offshore wind services, the need to attract, train and develop new technicians has never been greater. As a company with a strong focus on Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ), MWS is committed to actively contributing to the education, upskilling and professional development of technicians entering the renewables sector. We look forward to working closely with GWO to help strengthen industry standards and support the long-term competence and excellence of the global wind workforce.
Jakob Lau Holst, CEO of GWO, added:
We are delighted to welcome MWS to GWO. With a presence in six global regions and across more than 30 countries, MWS is a truly global leader in managing strategic projects at all scales to energy clients. With a specialisation in installation, operations and maintenance services, MWS offers a unique perspective on the O&M part of the value chain, which has a pressing need for skilled professionals between now and 2030. I look forward to working with the Muehlhan team as we strive to leverage industry standards to deliver training and skills for the energy transition.
