Global Wind Service Joins GWO as Newest Leading Member

GWO is pleased to welcome Global Wind Service (GWS) as its newest member, strengthening a shared commitment to ensuring the safest and most productive conditions for the workforce delivering the energy transition. With involvement in over 90% of Europe's Offshore Wind Projects, GWS is one of the largest providers in Europe of project solutions across the global onshore and offshore supply chain, from installation to servicing of wind turbines.

As the second ISP to join the GWO community, GWS operates from the cornerstone of wind turbine installation, supplying expertise on 4 continents in pre-assembly, mechanical installation, High Voltage, electrical installation and completion, as well as project management, site management and Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) services. To address the growing global demand for technicians, GWS supports the entry of qualified workforce into the sector through its Global Wind Service Academy, ensuring that technicians and project workforce teams have the right skills for the specific needs of each site.

GWS joins more than 30 leading energy companies working together towards a shared mission of ensuring the renewables workforce has enough adequately trained technicians to scale the energy transition.
