Certification bodies are essential in the governance system of GWO Standards. Without them, training providers cannot deliver GWO training and worker safety is potentially at risk.
GWO relies on the quality and professionalism of over 40 certification bodies from around the world, who assess and observe GWO training at source, before signing off either a fixed facility, mobile training or on site training solution to deliver GWO standard course.
Certification Bodies must document their compliance with the GWO Requirements for Certification Bodies if they are to join the authorised list of organisations. Only those who have done so are permitted to audit GWO training.
Between June-December 2019, users of the GWO web site clicked on links to certification body web sites more than 3500 times. It is in our mutual interest to promote certification bodies on the GWO list.
