GWO Forum ’25: Meet the Industry in Madrid

Only a Few Weeks Left for Early Bird Registration – Closes 1st July

Join us in Madrid on 7th–8th October for GWO’s annual Safety & Training Forum—an essential gathering for those shaping the future of workforce safety and training development in renewable energy.

From access to industry training and workforce development, this year’s Forum will focus on some of the sector’s most urgent challenges. Central to the discussion will be the recognition of prior learning and the harmonisation of national and international training standards, with both being key drivers of workforce development.

Your Voice, Your Forum

Built as a collaborative, community-driven event, the Forum connects GWO members, training providers, certification bodies and wider industry stakeholders for two days of learning, dialogue and exchanging best practices. You’ll have the chance to engage directly with expert speakers, influence the conversation and shape the workforce agenda.

As always, the Safety & Training Awards will recognise the instructors and providers raising the bar for GWO training globally. The Instructor of the Year Award, based on participant nominations, remains a highlight— celebrating excellence on the front line of workforce development.

What’s New in 2025?

This year’s programme will go further than ever. In addition to panel debates and peer-to-peer sessions, GWO will lead a guided discussion on bridging the gap between industry expectations and the realities of training new entrants—a conversation critical to building a sustainable pipeline of skilled technicians.

GWO will also be unveiling two new initiatives later this year. By taking part in the Forum 2025, you’ll be the first to hear what’s next for the GWO community and the future of training in renewables.

The 2024 edition brought together global voices from companies like Vestas, Acciona, RWE, Corio, GE Vernova and Nordex. This year, you can expect even greater opportunities to engage, network and collaborate.

⏳Early bird tickets are available until 1st July—don't miss out.
