If you’re a Training Provider, member or employer curious to engage in the conversation about training and skills in the wind and solar industries, join us in Paris for the Forum ’26.

On 29 and 30 September, the annual GWO Safety & Training Forum returns - this time, to Paris!
Bringing together experts within workforce, safety and technical training from around the world to discuss the most pressing challenges for the wind and solar industries, the Forum is your chance to connect with leading renewable energy employers, Training Providers and a range of specialist stakeholders.
Welcome to Paris – Home of the Landmark Agreement on Climate Change
More than ten years after the Paris Agreement was adopted and 195 countries united in a resounding “yes” to the world’s first legally binding climate agreement, the Forum ’26 location has a special historical resonance, as we continue working to enable the energy transition. For our international community of Training Providers and renewable energy employers, the Forum ‘26 will emphasise intercultural collaboration and a shared curiosity about what lies ahead.
Be the First to Know
As an industry-led, community-driven event, the Forum is built to foster collaboration through two-way engagement. You’ll get the opportunity to engage with GWO members in open discussion, network with peers and share your feedback in bespoke workshops with topics ranging from education and skills to participant assessments. By attending the Forum’ 26, you’ll also obtain GWO insider knowledge, including a first-hand preview of new initiatives we’re launching. Early-bird registration is now open until 1 July, giving you exclusive access to GWO updates and the chance to shape this year’s programme.
Celebrating Training Excellence
This year’s Forum will again celebrate training excellence within our global community, with the return of the Safety & Training Awards. Nominated by course participants, the Instructor of the Year and Training Team of the Year Awards will showcase the individuals and teams who are making a difference every day in training the latest cohorts of wind and solar technicians.
Your Voice, Your Forum
At the 2025 edition in Madrid, Spain we welcomed Training Providers from across the globe, as well as GWO member representatives from renewable energy employers, including Acciona, GE Vernova, RES, RWE and Vestas, alongside our first-ever event partner, Global Solar Council.
Your presence and feedback at the Forum drive the development of GWO Standards and the initiatives that enable workforce skills for the energy transition.
