Forum ’26: Join Us in Paris for Two Days of Dialogue

With less than three months until the GWO Safety & Training Forum & Awards 2026, learn more about this year's programme.

Running from 29-30 September 2026, the Forum is our annual flagship event, designed for industry experts within workforce, safety, and technical training to drive the dialogue on what matters most right now within wind and solar. This year’s programme focuses on one of the industry’s most important challenges: ensuring the workforce is ready for the future.

Through interactive sessions, panel discussions, and workshops, Forum ’26 participants will explore changing workforce needs, the expansion of skills beyond basic safety, and the growing focus of human factors in improving safety.

The programme will also examine GWO’s evolving approach to quality, with a stronger focus on learning outcomes, competence, and workforce performance. Attendees will gain early insights into upcoming developments, including standardised assessments, new approaches to training delivery, and the future role of technology and AI in learning environments.

Your Forum: Network Perspectives from the Global Training Community

Your perspective shapes the future of our industry. That’s why this year, we’re introducing a brand-new “Network Perspective” session series, focused on the future of training which harnesses new technology and settings. You’ll hear from your peers across the world and together, you’ll engage in roundtable discussions on topics such as new pathways for training centres, the role of AI in safety training, and workforce performance as the frontier of workforce development.

As ever, you can also look forward to the fifth edition of the Safety & Training Awards, celebrating the exceptional achievements of the instructors and training teams in our community who are pushing the boundaries of what good looks like in their training centres.

Be the First to Know

Whether you’re a Forum first-timer or seasoned attendee, one thing is for certain. If you’re curious about how to stay ahead of the curve of our industry’s evolving training landscape and if you’re serious about collaborating with your peers to explore the emerging challenges and opportunities for the future of the wind and solar workforce, then this is the event for you.

Join us in Paris to drive the dialogue.
