New Senior Training Advisor at GWO

The GWO secretariat is happy to announce the appointment of Jakob Bjørn Nielsen as Senior Training Advisor.

Jakob Bjørn Nielsen will assist the GWO Training Committee in their work to develop and update GWO training standards.

He joined from a previous position as Head of Training at MHI Vestas, and has in the past year served as a member of the GWO Training Committee. He has previously worked in safety training related positions for Siemens Wind Power and the Danish Army.

“We are lucky to be able to attract someone like Jakob Bjørn to GWO," said Jakob Lau Holst, Chief Executive Officer at Global Wind Organisation. His competencies and experience within the field will add to our ability to serve the industry."

Jakob Bjørn Nielsen will start on December 1, 2017.
