Lisa Mallon steps down as Chair of Global Wind Organisation

7th February - Due to personal circumstances, GWO announces today that its Executive Committee Chair, Lisa Mallon, will step down from her role with immediate effect.

Lisa's responsibilities will be covered in an interim capacity by Executive Committee Vice Chairs John Barrie (Vestas) and Jill Lees (RWE Renewables) for the period leading up to the Association's Annual General Meeting on 29th March 2023.

A new Board of Directors will be elected at the AGM, formed of representatives from member companies who are globally leading manufacturers and owners of wind turbines.

GWO would like to place on record its sincerest thanks to Lisa Mallon for her substantial contribution in the past four years during which she has represented GE Renewable Energy with distinction.
