Global Wind Organisation is providing an opportunity for all stakeholders to contribute to the evolution of its standards.

As part of the GWO Training Standards Review 2018-2019, an online consultation has been created. Lessons and learning objectives of the standards can be reviewed in detail, beginning with the BST Sea Survival Module and BTT modules.

To access the questionnaires, please visit the GWO Training Standards Review page.

The BST Sea Survival questionnaire is open until 11:45pm on 30th June 2018. The BTT questionnaires are open until 27th July 2018. The remaining BST modules will be added to the consultation over the coming weeks.

Responses to the consultation will be compiled by the GWO Secretariat and fed into the BST Standard Review process for consideration by the GWO Training Committee.

Jakob Bjørn Nielsen, Senior Training Advisor at GWO, said: "Our independent training provider network delivered almost 9000 GWO BST Sea Survival modules in 2017. We hope that they and other stakeholders use this as an opportunity to review the learning objectives of the BST Sea Survival module, and provide feedback so it can continue its cycle of improvement."
