Training providers will soon be selected to conduct pilot tests of the GWO Advanced Rescue Training Standard.
The ART Work Group finalized a first draft of the standard in early February and selected Training Providers have been asked to review the standard and provide the work group with feedback.
The ART modules will enable delegates after completing the course to perform entry-type casualty rescue operations, in a WTG, using industry standard rescue equipment, rescue methods and techniques, exceeding those of GWO Working at Height.
The secretariat will provide further updates where appropriate as the Standard’s development progresses.
