GWO officially kicked off its Blade Repair Working Group last week, meeting at Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy in Brande, Central Denmark.
GWO stakeholders heard from Senior Training Advisor Jakob Bjørn Nielsen as he focused on initiating the Work Group, verifying its scope, mapping current blade repair trainings used by Working Group members and presenting the training standard development model.
With stakeholders up to speed on typical GWO processes, the Working Group was tasked with making an initial/updated risk assessment on blade repair.
These will be collected by GWO to be collated and presented to the Training Committee on 13th March.
