GWO Safety and Training Awards 2021

The world’s first program of its kind recognising the skills and impact of the training providers and instructors who keep our wind energy workforce safe on site.

Every year, GWO training providers teach vital safety and technical skills to tens of thousands of wind energy workers across the world, helping them stay safe on a turbine before returning home to their families at the end of an assignment.

The GWO Safety & Training Awards have been created to shine a light on the teams of instructors, staff and supporting workforces who make this happen.

It’s not about one individual, but the team. How does your team go the extra mile?

GWO Safety & Training Awards 2021: Categories

There will be nine award winners at next year's event. To ensure maximum participation, the main category 'Training Team of the Year' will be judged and winners announced in regional and size-based groups as follows:  

TEAM AWARDS

• Training Team of the Year - (The Americas)
• Training Team of the Year - (Europe/Africa)
• Training Team of the Year - (Asia/Pacific)
• Training Team of the Year - (Up to 500 courses per annum)
• Training Team of the Year - (501-1500 courses per annum)
• Training Team of the Year - (1501+ courses per annum)
• Training Team of the Year - (Newcomer)

INDIVIDUAL AWARDS

• Young Achiever of the Year
• The Achievement Award
