To supplement our suite of instructor competency-building frameworks, we are continuing our series of regular online webinars hosted by the GWO Training Development Team.
In the interest of accommodating our global audience, this 40-minute webinar will be repeated morning and afternoon (CET). Open to all instructors looking to improve their skills, experience in a GWO framework is a must. However, the webinar is not tied to any other workforce development pathway.
This session's topic will be "ABC Learning Design Workshop". A hands-on learning design method originally developed by researchers at UCL. The ABC approach - Active, Blended, Connected, uses a rapid 90 minute workshop format to select and storyboard learning activities and identify assessment opportunities which support active learning, connected to learning objectives, utilising traditional learning methods blended with technology enhanced learning .
During this Instructor Moments webinar, participants will get an interactive introduction version to this method of approaching workshop facilitation from Thomas Redmond, Training Project Manager at GWO. This content will serve as a preparation for the IQT Summit Workshop in 2026.
