GWO Annual Report 2022

The 2021 Annual Report tells just a small part of the global story created by the many people from our members to the individual technicians who together work towards a safer workplace while also delivering on global energy goals.

Report summary

GWO's Annual Report 2022 shows how global wind markets turned to industry training standards in record numbers last year, as GWO training courses became the go to safety option for employers worldwide. During 2022, 104 new training providers were certified, bringing the global network to a total of 517, spread across 51 countries. Growth in training has also come from its established network of training providers with 153 of these expanding the breadth of the GWO standards portfolio they were certified in. Meanwhile, GWO training, particularly in Asia, North America and South America has been growing faster relative to the rest of the world.
