October 4th will be a special day as our community of safety and training in wind energy gathers in person for an all-new event in Copenhagen.
The GWO Safety & Training Forum brings together GWO's community for a heavyweight programme of inspiration, industry insight, networking and dialogue across a single day. Taking place at our headquarters in Central Copenhagen, the day comprises workshops, roundtables as well as plenary sessions, with opportunities to contribute your experience and understanding about the hot topics in safety and training in the wind industry.
The GWO Safety & Training Awards were created to shine a light on the teams of instructors and support staff who make safety in wind possible. The GWO Safety & Training Awards is the world’s first program of its kind recognizing the skills and impact of training providers and instructors keeping the wind energy workforce safe on site.
Lisa Mallon, Global Executive Leader at GE Renewable Energy Onshore Wind and Chair of the Global Wind Organisation Executive Committee explains:
"We have combined this event into a single day with the GWO Safety & Training Awards 2022, to remind our community how important they are to creating a safe working environment in wind and that good instructors are the most important part of that mission."
