GWO strive for an injury free work environment in the wind turbine industry, setting common international standards for safety training and emergency procedures together with its members

As of today, there are 121.000 GWO certified technicians working within the wind industry. They have become certified by receiving training from one of the now +450 GWO certified training providers throughout the world. Providing training standards that can stand the test of time in that scale, can only be done while focusing on key areas such as safety, productivity, local sourcing, and supply chain alignment.

How will you contribute to the development of safety solutions?

You will play a key role in the GWO Secretariat, contributing with your professional competence and belief in high achievement. You have an excellent command of English, written and spoken. If you speak Danish and other languages, that is an asset.

Tasks will include:

  • Project management of development and review of training standards
  • Project management of cross functional projects
  • Facilitation of meetings, working groups, and task forces in a structured and engaging way to create innovative industry solutions
  • Planning, tracking, and delivering according to agreed scope and priorities in an agile and transparent manner
  • Implementation and improvement of project management processes and tools
  • Proactive management of internal and external stakeholders

An overall pleasant person, well grounded in healthy values and good interpersonal skills. You know the importance of communicating constructively, and even when you do not know the answer to a question, you do take the time to assist the person seeking an answer.

What we expect:

  • Relevant education
  • Relevant project management experience
  • Experience of working with or knowledge of Agile methodology
  • Strong familiarity with project management methodologies, tools, and best practices
  • Experience with Design Thinking methodologies is a plus
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal)
  • Good user of Microsoft Office 365
  • Proven ability to lead project teams and complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
  • Flexible and service minded, strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to solve problems creatively, to be resourceful, and to facilitate engaging processes
  • Ability to drive processes and continuous improvements
  • Excellent analytical skills, structured and outcome oriented
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
