Copenhagen Offshore Partners joins Global Wind Organisation

Offshore wind development leader declares support for industry training standards

PRESS RELEASE – 22 June 2023, Copenhagen

Global Wind Organisation (GWO), the not-for-profit body representing wind power owners and manufacturers, is proud to announce Copenhagen Offshore Partners (COP) as its newest member today.

COP is a recognised leader in offshore wind project origination, development, and construction in new and established markets around the world. Founded in 2015, COP is the exclusive global offshore wind development partner to Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, with a portfolio in excess of 50GW of capacity across four continents including a rapidly increasing number of floating wind projects.

With COP now part of the membership, David Armour, Global Health, Safety and Environment Director at COP and a 15 year veteran of the renewables sector, will join GWO’s General Assembly to provide input and expertise on the continuous development of GWO's strategy and work programmes.
