Use your skills to support Global Wind Organisation (GWO) in creating training standards for a safer and more productive workforce.
Are you ready to take the next step and contribute your experience from project management of training development to a non-profit organisation founded by global leading wind turbine manufacturers and operators? Do you excel when ensuring that a diverse group of experts work in the same direction, and can you step up to the plate when needed and present the completed work?

GWO strives for an injury free work environment in the wind turbine industry, setting common international standards for safety training and emergency procedures together with its members
As of today, there are 112.000 GWO certified technicians working within the wind industry. They have become certified by receiving training from one of the now +420 GWO certified training providers throughout the world. Providing training standards that can stand the test of time in that scale can only be done by focusing on key areas such as safety, productivity, local sourcing and supply chain alignment.

How will you contribute to the development of safety training standards?
You will play a key role in the GWO Secretariat, incorporating your extensive knowledge of training, clear understanding of roles and responsibilities and your humble yet efficient and pleasant approach to stakeholders. Furthermore, you will be part of the zero to hero process when taking a project from scoping to implementation or when using the agile methodology to complete a project.

You will manage both internal projects and projects that include international working groups that consist of GWO member representatives.

Additional responsibilities are:

  • Training assessment programs
  • Development of training documentation
  • Training needs assessment and analysis
  • Workshop input and facilitation
  • Creation of process descriptions
  • Assist back-office in resolving training related queries
  • General support for the Secretariat
