Are you ready to add onto your academic profile by contributing your knowledge and can-do attitude, to a non-profit organisation founded by leading wind turbine manufacturers and operators? Do you excel when supporting your colleagues and stakeholders?

GWO strive for an injury free work environment in the wind turbine industry, setting common international standards for safety training and emergency procedures together with its members

As of today, there are 121.000 GWO certified technicians working within the wind industry. They have become certified by receiving training from one of the now +440 GWO training providers throughout the world. Providing training standards that can stand the test of time in that scale, can only be done while focusing on key areas such as safety, productivity, local sourcing, and supply chain alignment.

How will you contribute to the development of safety training standards?

You will support the GWO Secretariat, by working closely with the Project Development team. Main task will be assisting the Project Managers in the development of training standards which include workshop input and facilitation, engaging in discussions about training and learning, preparing presentations and taking notes, reviewing process descriptions and documents.

Additional responsibilities are:

  • Maintain and update our CRM system
  • Light billing through E-conomic
  • Stakeholder service support across all channels (mostly email, phone, ticket system) to our various stakeholders
  • Ad hoc assistance to your colleagues in everything from meetings and travel planning

As our new colleague you are

An overall pleasant person, well grounded in healthy values and good interpersonal skills. You know the importance of communicating constructively, and even when you do not know the answer to a question, you do take the time to assist the person seeking an answer.

What we expect:

  • Academically ambitious and study a relevant degree e.g. education science, learning, didactics or psychology.
  • Plan to work for GWO for at least 18 months.
  • Can communicate at a high level in English both written and verbal – other languages are an advantage, but not a requirement.

  • Self-disciplined, organized, and able to keep track of multiple tasks.

If the above sounds interesting, you should join us
