Merit process for employers of experienced wind turbine technicians

The merit assessment process is intended as a way for employers to avoid exposing technicians to unnecessary double training, when other non-GWO but similar safety training has been given.
The merit process includes a formal application, gap analysis and documentation as described in the Criteria for Merit Assessor and an audit is carried out through a subsequent video audit.
To be eligible for the merit process, employers must assess at least 25 technicians.

The merit process may take as long as several weeks to complete. For employers who wishes to use this process in advance of the Basic Technical Training effective date, we strongly advice that you apply as soon as possible.
You can read the full Criteria for Merit Assessor here.
